Job Description:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Storekeeper to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and dispatching goods, and ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse. The Storekeeper will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate stock levels and contributing to the overall success of our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods
Organize and maintain an efficient storage system for products
Issue materials as per requisitions and maintain accurate records
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to optimize stock levels
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Utilize inventory management software to track and manage stock
Assist in the preparation of regular reports on inventory status
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
Knowledge of inventory management principles and procedures
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects
High school diploma or equivalent
