Description

We are looking for an Aircraft Loader to oversee the movement and safety of cargo and baggage on aircraft. This role involves loading, unloading, and securing cargo, determining its orientation and destination, and completing load plans.

Primary Responsibilities:
Transfer cargo onto airplanes efficiently and safely.
Direct ground crews in loading, unloading, securing, and staging cargo or baggage.
Determine cargo quantity and orientation, calculate the aircraft’s center of gravity, and sign the load plan or manifest.
Perform pre-flight and post-flight aircraft checks, ensuring proper weight and balance.
Secure cargo during flight and assist in airdrop operations if needed.
Calculate load weights for different aircraft compartments using charts and computer systems.
Communicate with customers, supervisors, contractors, and other staff to resolve issues and coordinate operations.
Ensure compliance with all governmental regulations, company procedures, and safety/security requirements.
