We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to support our finance department with day-to-day accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, excellent organizational ability, and a keen eye for accuracy. This is a great opportunity to grow within a dynamic and supportive team.

 Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports

Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and in a timely manner

Perform bank reconciliations and maintain petty cash records

Support month-end and year-end closing processes

Maintain and update financial records and ledgers

Assist in preparing tax returns and audit documentation

Liaise with suppliers and respond to financial inquiries

Support senior accountants and finance managers with ad hoc tasks

 Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field

1–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role (internships included)

Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good time-management and organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 Preferred Qualifications

Part-qualified or currently studying ACCA, CPA, or similar certification

Experience working in [industry, e.g., retail, logistics, etc.]
