Job Title: Assistant Accountant

 Location: Dubai, UAE
 Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to support our finance department. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support reporting and auditing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports

Maintain general ledger entries and reconcile accounts

Process invoices, payments, and expense reports

Assist in payroll preparation

Support month-end and year-end close processes

Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Assist with internal and external audits

Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payments and invoices

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (preferred)

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Xero)

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with tax filing and payroll systems

Familiarity with ERP systems

Ongoing or completed accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus
