Baggage Counter Staff Job Opportunity in United Arab Emirates.
We seek a baggage counter staff member to handle, store, and tag guest luggage securely while maintaining guest service excellence, especially at arrival, check-in, or temporary baggage holding.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Guest Luggage Handling
Receive and safely store guest luggage at the counter or storage room.
Issue luggage tags/tokens for identification.
Retrieve and return luggage to guests upon request.
Assist with carrying bags to/from rooms if needed.
2. Guest Interaction & Service
Greet guests politely and offer assistance with luggage.
Answer basic guest inquiries (check-in/out times, directions).
Provide information about nearby transport or hotel amenities.
3. Baggage Storage Area Management
Keep the baggage area clean, organized, and secure.
Ensure bags are properly tagged to prevent loss or mix-ups.
Monitor for unattended or suspicious items.
4. Coordination
Coordinate with the front office and bell desk for guest arrivals/departures.
Notify concierge or housekeeping if special handling is required.
Help during peak check-in/check-out times.
