Position Available: Cashier

Job Overview:
We are looking for a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our retail team. The role involves handling transactions, assisting customers, and ensuring smooth operations at the checkout counter.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate the cash register to process customer purchases accurately.
2. Handle cash, credit/debit card, and digital payments securely.
3. Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as per store policies.
4. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
5. Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent service.
6. Monitor stock at the checkout counter and report low inventory.
7. Balance the cash drawer at the start and end of shifts.

Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred.
3. Strong numerical and multitasking skills.
4. Friendly and customer-focused demeanor.
5. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
6. Basic knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus.
