Description

We are seeking a trustworthy and customer-focused Cashier to handle cash register operations and provide excellent service to customers. The ideal candidate will manage transactions efficiently, ensure accurate billing, and maintain a positive customer experience at the point of sale.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and assist with purchases
Handle cash, credit, and other payment transactions accurately
Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges when required
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
Count cash in the drawer at the beginning and end of shifts
Ensure correct pricing and scan items using POS systems
Answer customer questions and resolve complaints professionally
Assist in restocking shelves near the cashier area
Follow store policies and procedures for security and customer service

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a cashier or in retail (preferred)
Basic math and computer skills
Familiarity with POS systems (training can be provided)
Good communication and customer service skills
Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented
Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
