Looking for General Maintenance Technician.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of boilers and HVAC utility equipment/systems.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
1-Starts systems and observes operation.
2-Read gauges and instruments and adjust mechanisms to control level of fluid, pressure and temperature in system.
3-Maintain proper functioning of refrigeration systems, steam generation, compressed air, hot water, treated water and other systems that apply.
4-Use knowledge of water chemistry to maintain and service equipment.
5-Maintain monitoring of utilities used by the business units.
Respond to emergency calls regarding refrigeration on production floor.
6-Ensure continued production operation as it relates to refrigeration equipment, utilities, and HVAC equipment.
7-Dismantle malfunctioning system and test components using electrical mechanical and pneumatic testing equipment.
8-Troubleshoot, adjust and/or repair utility systems equipment as problems/deviations occur.
9-Pipe fitting and plumbing repair.
10-Repair/rebuild pumps, valves, regulators, traps, fans,etc.
Other duties assigned.
11-Collaborates with Refrigeration Lead to achieve designated tasks
