Location: Dubai

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Help Desk Technician to join our team in Dubai. As a Help Desk Technician, you will be the first point of contact for technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving IT-related issues for our employees.

Responsibilities:

Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, or in-person.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals.
Assist with setting up and maintaining user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level IT staff or external support providers when necessary.
Document and track all support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system.
Provide guidance and training to users on the effective use of technology and software.
Ensure that all IT equipment and systems are functioning optimally and securely.
Perform routine maintenance and updates on systems and software.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements.
Requirements:

Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Help Desk Technician or in a similar technical support role.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as common business software applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or similar are a plus.
