A well-established overseas group based in Dubai, Africa, India, trading in a wide range of products is looking to create a dedicated team of hard working go-getters in its Dubai office. Good potential to grow with the company.
We need an energetic, well organized, efficient, experienced Import/Export + Accounts Executive with good knowledge of all export/import documentation and must have an accounts background, EXCELLENT FLUENT SPOKEN AND WRITTEN ENGLISH necessary along with communication skills and a pleasing personality.
Responsibilities / Duties:
The person will be working directly with the CEO. Handling various responsibilities and co-ordinate the running of the entire export/import documentation + banking of the company.
Plan and coordinate all the international shipment of goods. Negotiate and liaise with suppliers, shipping agents, vendors and customers.
Preparing of quotations, invoices, brochures and presentations for customers and follow up on payments from customer.
He/she will handle the full book-keeping and accounts of the company from petty cash book, payment vouchers, cheques, ledgers, balance sheet etc. including filing of all accounts related documents;
Prepare accurate costing charts for the company’s product range;
Prepare and analyze various financial & accounting charts for the company;
Prepare and analyze budgets, profit & loss statements and projections;
Oversee all Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable of the company. Handle all outward payments and inward receipts for the company;
Prepare reports for the Directors and the Sales & Marketing Team on Profitability / Cost Effectiveness of various projects and sales promotion campaigns;
Handle all local purchasing – Negotiate and finalize supplies of various locally sourced items;
Negotiate with local contractors and service providers of the company;
Recommend cost savings and improved efficiency measures to the company management;
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Minimum University Degree (Bachelor’s or higher) in Accounting or Finance or Business or Commerce;
* Minimum 4 to 5 years of work experience IN AN OFFICE IN THE UAE with similar job responsibilities;
* Fluency in English – spoken and written is a MUST
* valid U.A.E. Driving Licence;
Proficiency with computers and normal software + programmes: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Publisher etc.)
* Complete working knowledge with computerised accounting systems such as Tally, Quickbooks, etc is a MUST;
* Ability to organize, multi-task, prioritise, work under pressure and get the job done within the given deadlines;
* Must be motivated, organized and systematic;
* Cheerful and a calm team worker;
