IT Support Specialist Job Opportunity in United Arab Emirates.
We are looking for a knowledgeable and customer-oriented IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to our employees and ensure smooth daily IT operations. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues, provide timely solutions, and support end-users both remotely and on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-line technical support to staff via phone, email, or in-person
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
Install, configure, and update computer systems, printers, and other devices
Maintain and monitor IT systems, networks, and security tools
Create and manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions
Assist with setup and support for meetings, presentations, and video conferencing
Document issues, solutions, and system configurations accurately
Support IT inventory management and equipment tracking
Collaborate with the IT team for system upgrades and improvements
Ensure compliance with IT policies and security protocols
Qualifications:
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Proven experience in IT support or help desk roles
Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and common software applications
Familiarity with networking, firewalls, and cybersecurity basics
Experience with IT ticketing systems and remote support tools
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Fluent in English; other languages are a plus
Certifications like CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified, or CCNA are an advantage
