Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented IT Technician to provide technical support, maintain IT systems, and ensure smooth daily operations. The IT Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring systems, and providing assistance to employees to resolve technical problems efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripheral devices
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
Perform regular system updates, backups, and security checks
Respond promptly to technical support requests from staff
Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment and software licenses
Set up new user accounts, emails, and access permissions
Provide training and guidance to staff on basic IT usage and best practices
Collaborate with vendors for IT purchases and service agreements
Ensure data security and compliance with company policies
Document technical procedures and system configurations

Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking
Familiarity with common business software and applications
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Good communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:
Office-based environment with occasional on-site support requirements
May require occasional overtime or weekend work for urgent IT issues
