Junior Accountant Job Responsibilities

Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets.

Record daily financial transactions in accounting software and ledgers.

Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and on time.

Reconcile bank statements and company accounts to ensure accuracy.

Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits.

Assist in tax preparation and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

Provide support in payroll processing and employee reimbursements.

Analyze financial data and highlight discrepancies or issues to senior accountants.

Assist with internal audits and financial reviews.

Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies.

Perform other related administrative and accounting tasks as required.
