Job Title: Kitchen Helper
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation:
Assist chefs in chopping, peeling, and cutting ingredients.
Prepare basic food items such as salads, sauces, and garnishes.
Ensure ingredients are properly washed and stored.
2. Cleaning & Maintenance:
Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas.
Dispose of kitchen waste properly and maintain cleanliness.
3. Stock & Supply Management:
Assist in organizing and storing food supplies.
Monitor inventory levels and inform the supervisor when restocking is needed.
Ensure proper labeling and rotation of food items to prevent waste.
4. Kitchen Support:
Help in plating and serving food when required.
Follow hygiene and food safety regulations.
Assist in handling deliveries and storing ingredients.
Skills & Qualifications:
Previous experience in a kitchen setting is a plus but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
Physical stamina to stand for long hours and handle kitchen tasks.
