Job Description
The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising the movement, storage, and distribution of goods. You will lead a team of logistics personnel to ensure timely and accurate shipments while maintaining compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily logistics operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and transportation

Coordinate with carriers, warehouse staff, and suppliers to ensure smooth and timely deliveries

Monitor and improve supply chain workflows and operational efficiency

Train, schedule, and evaluate logistics team members

Ensure safety procedures and company policies are followed

Analyze shipping costs and transportation performance metrics

Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports for management

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or business is preferred)

3+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations

Previous supervisory or team leadership experience

Strong understanding of logistics systems, inventory management, and shipping processes

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred Skills
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)

Forklift certification or familiarity with warehouse equipment

Knowledge of regulatory compliance (DOT, OSHA, etc.)
