Description

we are looking for Maintenance Supervisor who will do the following roles
 Key Duties and Responsibilities:
 General Maintenance
Perform routine inspections and repairs of plumbing, electrical systems, doors, windows, furniture, and HVAC units

Conduct minor carpentry, painting, and patching work as needed

Report major damages or faults to external contractors or the administration

 Facility & Equipment Checks
Monitor and maintain lighting, fire alarms, emergency exits, and extinguishers

Inspect classrooms, labs, toilets, playgrounds, and common areas for safety hazards

Ensure fans, ACs, projectors, and classroom equipment are in working order

 Groundskeeping & Cleanliness
Oversee landscaping, playground upkeep, and sports field cleanliness

Coordinate with cleaners to ensure cleanliness of school buildings

Manage waste disposal and pest control

Health & Safety Compliance
Follow and enforce school safety protocols and building codes

Ensure fire exits, first aid boxes, and emergency equipment are accessible and functional

Support during health/safety audits or municipality inspectioInventory & Supplies
Maintain stock of maintenance tools, cleaning products, bulbs, batteries, etc.

Request supplies from school admin and ensure proper storage

Track usage and prevent waste Support During Events & School Activities
Set up furniture and equipment for assemblies, meetings, and school functions

Assist with sound systems, chairs, canopies, banners, etc.

Restore venues after events to original condition

 Recordkeeping & Reporting
Maintain a daily logbook of maintenance tasks and issues

Schedule preventive maintenance and coordinate with vendors for repairs

Report urgent maintenance needs to school leadership
