Office Accountant Job Opportunity in United Arab Emirates.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Office Accountant to manage day-to-day financial tasks, maintain records, and support overall office finance operations in our Dubai branch. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate bookkeeping and compliance with UAE accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledgers.
Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor company expenses.
Handle accounts payable and receivable functions.
Assist with monthly and year-end closings and financial reporting.
Manage petty cash and office-related expenses.
Ensure accurate VAT filings and compliance with local regulations.
Coordinate with auditors, suppliers, and internal departments.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2–4 years of relevant experience in an office or small business accounting role.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar).
Strong MS Excel skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of UAE VAT laws and basic compliance practices.
Good English communication; other language skills are a plus.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
