We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Purchasing Officer to manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required by the company. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills and experience in sourcing reliable suppliers while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best quality and price
Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate records of purchases
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the store or warehouse department
Review and compare product quality, delivery times, and overall value
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
Ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
Follow company procurement policies and ensure compliance with regulations
Prepare and submit regular purchasing reports
