Job Title: Storekeeper

Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Storekeeper. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials in our warehouse or storeroom, ensuring efficient inventory management and smooth operations.

Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials or products.
Properly store items in designated locations, ensuring optimal space utilization and easy retrieval.
Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems or manual logs.
Monitor stock levels and initiate requisition orders as needed to replenish supplies.
Prepare and pack items for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in storage and handling procedures.
Assist in conducting periodic audits to verify inventory accuracy.
Collaborate with purchasing and procurement teams to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role.
Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment.
Proficiency in computerized inventory management systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
