Description

A Teaching Assistant supports teachers in delivering educational instruction and managing the classroom. They work closely with students to enhance their learning experience, provide individualized assistance, and ensure a positive and productive classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

Administrative Tasks:

Help maintain accurate records, such as attendance and grades.
Organize and distribute classroom supplies, materials, and homework assignments.
Assist with setting up and tidying the classroom before and after lessons.

Behavior and Safety Monitoring:

Supervise students during recess, lunch, or field trips to ensure safety.
Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Assist in implementing classroom rules and discipline plans.

Communication:

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to discuss student progress and challenges.
Provide feedback to the teacher about student performance and behavior.
