Description

We are seeking for Telephone Operator who will be responsible to handle incoming and outgoing calls, provide excellent customer service, and manage a switchboard or telephone system. The role involves answering calls professionally, greeting callers, directing calls to appropriate departments, providing information, and assisting callers. The Operator must also maintain and update directories, assist in conference calls, handle emergency calls, monitor after-hours calls, ensure proper equipment functioning, relay important announcements, maintain confidentiality, and assist with office administrative tasks. Qualifications include a high school diploma, previous experience as a telephone operator, strong communication and interpersonal skills, a pleasant telephone manner, ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations, good problem-solving skills, familiarity with telephone systems and call management software, basic computer skills, attention to detail, and adaptability.
