Job Description:
Join the educational team as an Assistant Teacher and make a significant impact on the learning and development of students. As an Assistant Teacher, you will work closely with lead teachers to support classroom activities, provide one-on-one assistance to students, and create a positive and engaging learning environment. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with lead teachers to plan and implement daily lesson plans and activities.
Provide individual or small group support to students in various subjects or areas of need.
Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
Supervise students in the classroom, during lunch, and on field trips.
Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance.
Support the lead teacher in assessing and documenting student progress.
Prepare and organize educational materials and resources.
Assist with grading assignments and providing feedback to students.
Foster a positive and respectful atmosphere in the classroom.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Follow the school’s policies and procedures for safety and student well-being.
Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the classroom.

Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in education or a related field is preferred but not required.
Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is a plus.
Passion for teaching and a desire to support students’ growth and development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of an educational team.
A commitment to following school policies and procedures.
A background check and clearances may be required.
