Role and Responsibilities:

Assist chefs and cooks in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of trash, to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment.
Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, checking inventory levels, and rotating stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
Set up and break down workstations, including equipment and utensils, in preparation for daily operations and service periods.
Follow food safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling, storage, and temperature controls, to maintain quality and compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to support efficient workflow and timely execution of orders, communicating effectively and assisting with tasks as needed.
Assist with basic cooking tasks, such as grilling, frying, and baking, under the supervision and guidance of experienced cooks and chefs.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, demonstrating professionalism and teamwork in all interactions and activities.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training or relevant experience is a plus.

Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation principles.
