Logistics Assistant Job Opportunity in United Arab Emirates.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and track shipments, deliveries, and pickups to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and transportation companies to arrange logistics and resolve any issues that may arise.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and transactions.
Assist in the procurement process by sourcing suppliers and obtaining price quotations.
Monitor and optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies regarding transportation and logistics.
Requirements:
Previous experience in logistics or a related field preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office applications and logistics software.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of import/export regulations is a plus.
