Job Title: Heavy Vehicle Driver

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Heavy/Light Vehicle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently using heavy vehicles such as trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities:
Safely operate and drive heavy/light vehicles, including trucks and trailers, in compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
Transport goods and materials to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of goods.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle operations and activities, including mileage logs and delivery receipts.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and routes.
Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks and report any mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements:
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a heavy vehicle driver, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
Knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safe driving practices.
Ability to operate heavy vehicles in a variety of road and weather conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
Physical stamina and the ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as needed.
