 About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and has a solid foundation in accounting principles.

You will work closely with senior accountants to ensure the smooth running of financial operations and contribute to maintaining accurate financial records.

 Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports

Record and reconcile daily transactions (accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, etc.)

Process invoices, payments, and expense reports

Support month-end and year-end closing processes

Assist with audits and tax filings

Maintain organized financial records and documentation

Perform data entry and update accounting databases and spreadsheets

Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed

 Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

1–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role (internship or entry-level acceptable)

Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP)

Proficient in MS Excel and data entry

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure

 Nice to Have:

Professional certification (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CPA – part-qualified)

Experience working in a fast-paced or multi-company environment

Knowledge of payroll or tax regulations
