Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team in Dubai. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, and resolving any issues that arise promptly.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, software, and peripherals.
Manage and support user accounts, permissions, and access rights in various systems.
Respond to support requests via phone, email, or in-person, and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain documentation of all support activities, including issues reported and solutions provided.
Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Assist in setting up new workstations, including hardware and software installations.
Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies and improvements.
Provide training and guidance to employees on the use of software and IT resources.
Stay updated on the latest technology trends and best practices in IT support.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking.
Proficiency with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Experience with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to software, hardware, and networks.
Familiarity with IT security practices and protocols.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are preferred.
