Position: IT Support Specialist
Location: Dubai, UAE
Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to employees, either in-person or remotely.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including computers, printers, and network devices.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications.
Assist with the setup of new user accounts and manage access permissions.
Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and backups to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor and respond to IT support requests in a timely manner.
Document and track all issues and resolutions in a help desk ticketing system.
Provide training and guidance to users on software, hardware, and IT procedures.
Assist with the implementation of IT projects, including upgrades and new installations.
Ensure security and data protection measures are in place and adhered to.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing hardware, software, and network issues.
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common software applications.
Knowledge of network protocols, security, and firewalls.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including after-hours support when necessary.
