Job Position: School Nurse

Location: Dubai

Job Description:

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled School Nurse to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing health care services to students, promoting health and wellness, and ensuring a safe and healthy school environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide first aid and medical care to students with injuries or illnesses.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Monitor and manage students with chronic health conditions, such as asthma or diabetes.
Conduct health screenings and assessments, including vision, hearing, and growth measurements.
Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students.
Develop and implement health education programs to promote wellness and prevent illness.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to address students’ health needs and concerns.
Handle emergencies and coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and school policies.
Organize and maintain the school health office and medical supplies.
Provide guidance and support to students and staff on health-related issues and practices.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field.
Valid nursing license or certification.
Previous experience as a School Nurse or in a similar healthcare role.
Strong knowledge of pediatric health care and emergency response procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
