We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for the efficient and high-quality laundering of linens, uniforms, and other textiles. Responsibilities:
Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press a variety of linens, uniforms, and textiles, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
Inspect items for stains, damages, or wear and report any issues to the supervisor.
Operate commercial laundry equipment, such as washing machines, dryers, and ironing machines.
Ensure that laundry is properly sorted and labeled for delivery to the correct departments or clients.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laundry supplies, such as detergents and fabric softeners, and place orders as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the laundry area, including regular cleaning of machines and work surfaces.
Perform routine maintenance on laundry equipment and report any malfunctions or breakdowns to maintenance staff.
Keep accurate records of laundry loads, maintenance activities, and inventory levels.
Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Collaborate with other laundry attendants to meet production targets and deadlines.
Assist with the delivery and distribution of clean laundry to the appropriate departments or clients.
Provide exceptional customer service to address any special requests or concerns.
Uphold high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation throughout the laundry process.
Follow company policies and procedures related to laundry operations.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in laundry operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Familiarity with commercial laundry equipment is a plus.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy laundry bags or linens.
Attention to detail and the ability to identify and address stains or damages.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
Basic math skills for measuring and mixing detergents and chemicals.
Knowledge of safety protocols and the safe operation of laundry equipment.
Effective communication skills.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as laundry operations may require.
