Job Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records for the restaurant.
Record and reconcile daily sales and expenses.
Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Handle bank and credit card reconciliations.
Prepare and file tax returns and maintain compliance with tax laws.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting financial performance.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial efficiency.
Collaborate with restaurant management on financial decisions.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an accountant in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certification such as CPA is a plus.
