In this position, you will be responsible for operating a school bus and adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. Responsibilities:
Safely transport students to and from school, adhering to predetermined routes and schedules while following all traffic and safety regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the school bus, identifying any maintenance or safety concerns and promptly reporting them to the appropriate authorities.
Maintain a safe and orderly environment on the school bus, ensuring that students follow safety protocols and behavior expectations while on board.
Establish positive and professional relationships with students, parents, and school staff, serving as a responsible and caring role model for the students in your care.
Qualifications:
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for transporting passengers. A clean driving record and previous experience in a similar role are preferred.
Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to school bus transportation, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all passengers.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, parents, and school personnel in a courteous and professional manner.
Dedication to punctuality and reliability, with the ability to adhere to established schedules and demonstrate flexibility as needed.
