Job Title: Purchasing Officer

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Purchasing Officer. The Purchasing Officer will be responsible for sourcing and procuring goods and services for the hotel, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining optimal inventory levels while adhering to budgetary constraints.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet the hotel’s operational needs and budgetary requirements.
Source suppliers and negotiate contracts for the procurement of goods and services, including food and beverage items, linens, amenities, and equipment.
Review and analyze purchase requisitions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures.
Obtain competitive bids and quotations from vendors, evaluating proposals based on quality, price, and delivery timelines.
Place purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to track order status and resolve any issues or delays.
Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
Coordinate with department heads to forecast demand and ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor performance.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with procurement software and systems.
Knowledge of food and beverage products and industry trends is a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
