Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of goods and materials.
Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to ensure efficient utilization of space.
Monitor inventory levels and track stock movements to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, such as receipts, disbursements, and returns.
Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks and the movement of goods within the warehouse.
Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and records.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Assist in the preparation of reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
