Job Description:

We are currently seeking a diligent and experienced individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Supervisor in Dubai. The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee the housekeeping staff and ensure that cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping staff, including room attendants, cleaners, and janitors.
Assign duties and tasks to housekeeping staff and ensure that they are completed efficiently and effectively.
Train new housekeeping staff members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hygiene standards.
Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and ensure that they are adequately stocked and maintained.
Handle guest complaints and requests related to housekeeping services, and ensure prompt resolution.
Conduct regular inspections and evaluations of housekeeping performance, and provide feedback and coaching for improvement.
Collaborate with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to address guest needs and maintain smooth operations.
Enforce safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for staff.
Prepare reports on housekeeping activities, including occupancy rates, cleanliness scores, and maintenance issues.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field is preferred.
Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role, with at least 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
