Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to support our finance team with daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will assist with bookkeeping, account reconciliations, invoice processing, and other finance-related tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance with UAE financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in recording and maintaining financial transactions.
Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
Help with bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
Assist in preparing VAT returns and supporting audit processes.
Work closely with the Senior Accountant or Finance Manager.
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with accounting standards.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1–2 years of accounting or finance experience preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
Understanding of UAE VAT regulations is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
