Description

Classroom Support:

Assist the lead teacher in preparing and organizing classroom materials, activities, and learning resources.
Collaborate with the lead teacher in creating engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
Child Care and Safety:

Supervise and ensure the safety of children during classroom activities, playtime, and outdoor excursions.
Attend to the personal needs of students, including helping with toileting, dressing, and other daily routines.
Student Interaction:

Foster a warm and supportive atmosphere in the classroom, building positive relationships with each child.
Encourage children to participate in group activities and engage in age-appropriate play and learning.
Educational Activities:

Assist in delivering age-appropriate lessons and educational activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Support students in developing essential skills, such as language, motor, and problem-solving skills.
Classroom Management:

Help maintain discipline and order in the classroom, promoting a positive and respectful learning environment.
Assist in managing transitions between activities and maintaining a structured daily schedule.
Individualized Support:

Provide one-on-one attention to children who may need additional help or encouragement in their learning process.
Communication:

Communicate effectively with parents, updating them on their child’s progress and any relevant classroom information.
Health and Hygiene:

Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the classroom, including cleaning toys and equipment regularly.
Professional Development:

Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your knowledge and skills in early childhood education.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in early childhood education is a plus.
Previous experience as a kindergarten assistant teacher or in a related childcare role is beneficial but not always mandatory.
Genuine love and passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.
Patience, kindness, and the ability to connect with young learners on their level.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the lead teacher and other staff members.
Understanding of age-appropriate teaching methods and child development principles.
