Description

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a school bus for student transportation.
Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations.
Ensure the safety of students while boarding and disembarking.
Maintain order and discipline on the bus.
Plan and follow assigned routes and schedules.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Communicate with school staff and parents/guardians.
Follow emergency procedures and protocols.
Report any incidents or issues promptly.
Maintain a clean and well-kept bus interior.
Requirements:

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
Clean driving record and knowledge of traffic rules.
Ability to manage student behavior and safety.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical fitness for driving and assisting students.
Patience and calm demeanor.
Positive attitude and professionalism.
Knowledge of emergency procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous school bus driving experience is a plus.
Ability to undergo required background checks.
