We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our facilities and equipment to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as lubricating equipment, replacing parts, and cleaning systems.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests, including repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools.
Install and maintain electrical systems, including lighting, switches, outlets, and circuit breakers.
Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and drains.
Perform carpentry work, such as building or repairing structures, furniture, and fixtures.
Conduct basic welding and metalworking tasks.
Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, and request replenishment as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Document maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and completed tasks.
Assist in the development of maintenance procedures and schedules.
Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete larger maintenance projects.
Participate in on-call rotations for emergency maintenance situations, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Basic understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment and perform manual labor.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Availability for emergency on-call duty, including nights and weekends.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
