Job Description:
Join our team as a Storekeeper and contribute to the efficient management of our supermarket’s inventory and supplies. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and issuance of merchandise, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring that the supermarket’s shelves are adequately stocked. Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming merchandise, verifying the quality and quantity of goods received and ensuring that all items are in accordance with the supermarket’s quality standards.
Organize and maintain inventory levels, arranging products on shelves and display areas to ensure that they are easily accessible to customers and that the supermarket maintains a neat and organized appearance at all times.
Manage stock rotation, ensuring that perishable items are properly stored and that older stock is appropriately cleared to prevent spoilage and product expiration.
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile inventory records with physical stock, identifying discrepancies and addressing any issues that may arise in a timely and accurate manner.
Coordinate with the procurement team to place orders for necessary supplies and merchandise, taking into account current stock levels and anticipated customer demand to prevent stockouts or overstocking.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a storekeeping or inventory management role is preferred, with a strong understanding of stock control procedures and inventory management software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping, with a focus on maintaining precise inventory documentation and adhering to proper storage and handling protocols for all merchandise.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the supermarket’s management team and staff to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
