Job Description:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Inventory Assistant. The Inventory Assistant will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records, assisting with stock management, and ensuring efficient operations within the warehouse or inventory department. Responsibilities:
Assist in receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming shipments of goods and materials
Organize and maintain inventory storage areas, ensuring items are properly labeled, stored, and accessible
Perform regular inventory counts and audits to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies
Input data into inventory management software or spreadsheets to update inventory records and track stock movements
Assist with the picking, packing, and shipping of orders as needed
Communicate inventory levels, stock shortages, and replenishment needs to the inventory supervisor or manager
Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to coordinate inventory activities and resolve issues
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all staff
Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay updated on inventory procedures and policies

Requirements:
Previous experience in inventory management or warehouse operations preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and inventory management software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed
High school diploma or equivalent
