We are committed to ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for all riders. As we continue to grow, we are seeking attentive and caring individuals to join our team as Bus Attendants.

Responsibilities:
Assist students and passengers with boarding and exiting the bus safely and efficiently
Ensure that passengers are seated and wearing seat belts or safety harnesses during transit
Monitor student behavior and maintain order on the bus, addressing any disruptive behavior or safety concerns as needed
Assist students with special needs or disabilities, providing additional support and accommodations as required
Communicate effectively with bus drivers, school staff, and parents to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure the well-being of students
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus, checking for cleanliness, safety, and any maintenance issues
Secure wheelchairs, strollers, and other mobility devices in designated areas, ensuring they are properly restrained during transit
Maintain accurate records of passenger counts, incidents, and other relevant information
Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including emergency evacuation drills and first aid response
Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge of student safety, behavior management, and emergency procedures

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in student transportation, special education, or related fields preferred
Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and compassionately with students, parents, and colleagues
Patient, empathetic, and calm demeanor, with the ability to remain composed in stressful situations
Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with bus drivers and other team members
Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to maintaining a consistent schedule
Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and assist passengers for extended periods
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional evenings for extracurricular activities or events
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred (if required for certain duties)
