About Us:
As part of our dedication to efficiency and organization, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:
Assist with inventory management processes, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials, supplies, and products
Perform regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies or variances
Update inventory records and databases to reflect incoming and outgoing shipments, transfers, and adjustments
Monitor inventory levels and reorder points, and coordinate with purchasing and procurement teams to replenish stock as needed
Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and year-end inventory reconciliations
Inspect incoming shipments for quality and quantity, and verify against purchase orders and packing slips
Organize and maintain storage areas, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and rotation of inventory items
Assist in the implementation and optimization of inventory management systems and procedures
Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in inventory management or related field preferred
Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or related field preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items as needed
Familiarity with inventory control best practices and procedures
