SALARY: 3500AED
LOCATION: SHARJAH

We are looking for cashier is a frontline employee responsible for processing financial transactions, providing customer service, and maintaining the accuracy of sales records in various retail establishments, restaurants, banks, and other businesses.

Responsibilities:

Processing Transactions:
Scan items, enter prices, and total purchases accurately using cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Handle various forms of payment, including cash, credit/debit cards, checks, mobile payments, and vouchers.
Ensure transactions are completed efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
Answer questions regarding products, pricing, promotions, and store policies.
Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
Cash Handling:
Handle cash transactions, including giving change and processing refunds.
Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accuracy.
Follow established procedures for cash management and security to prevent theft or discrepancies.
Product Knowledge:
Stay informed about products, promotions, and sales to assist customers effectively.
Provide recommendations or upsell additional products based on customer needs or preferences.
Maintaining Cleanliness:
Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Ensure displays, signage, and promotional materials are neat and presentable.
Following Procedures:
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and returns.
Follow security protocols to prevent theft, fraud, or loss of merchandise or cash.
Teamwork:
Collaborate with other staff members, such as sales associates, supervisors, and managers, to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate tasks and assist with workload as needed.
Continuous Learning:
Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge, customer service skills, and proficiency with POS systems.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to cashiering and retail operations.
