Job Description:

We are seeking a vigilant and attentive CCTV Operator to join our security team and monitor our surveillance systems. As a CCTV Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises by monitoring and responding to activities captured on our surveillance cameras. Your attention to detail, quick decision-making, and ability to maintain situational awareness will contribute to maintaining a secure environment.

Responsibilities:
Monitor live surveillance footage from CCTV cameras to detect and prevent security breaches.
Operate and control CCTV equipment, including pan-tilt-zoom cameras and video recording systems.
Identify and report any suspicious or unauthorized activities to appropriate personnel.
Keep track of multiple camera feeds simultaneously and maintain focus on critical areas.
Collaborate with security personnel and law enforcement in emergency situations.
Document and log events, incidents, and activities captured on camera.
Respond to alarms and alerts generated by the surveillance system.
Assist in reviewing recorded footage as part of investigations or incident reviews.
Ensure the proper functioning of CCTV equipment and report any malfunctions.
Maintain confidentiality and security of recorded footage and sensitive information.

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a CCTV Operator or in a security monitoring role is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify suspicious activities.
Excellent observational and multitasking skills.
Ability to remain focused during long periods of monitoring.
Strong communication and reporting abilities.
Knowledge of security procedures and protocols.
Familiarity with CCTV equipment and technology.
Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
