Description

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome students, parents, and visitors in a friendly and courteous manner.
Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members.
Provide information and assistance to parents and visitors regarding school programs, events, and procedures.
Manage and maintain the school’s visitor log and issue visitor badges.
Assist with student attendance records and tardy arrivals.
Handle inquiries and requests from students, parents, and staff promptly and professionally.
Distribute and collect school forms, permissions slips, and other documents as needed.
Assist with general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and photocopying.
Maintain the reception area in a neat and organized manner.
Collaborate with school staff to ensure efficient communication and coordination.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education in administration or customer service is a plus.
Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk officer, or in a similar role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of other languages is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Proficient in using office equipment, including phones, printers, and computers.
Organized and able to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Customer-focused attitude with the ability to provide outstanding service.
Familiarity with school operations and protocols is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.
Knowledge of Dubai’s school systems and regulations is beneficial.
