Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently deliver packages, parcels, or food orders to customers’ homes or businesses in a timely manner.
Plan and organize delivery routes to optimize efficiency and minimize delivery times.
Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring that packages are handled with care and delivered intact.
Verify the accuracy of delivery addresses and contact information before departing for delivery.
Collect payments from customers as needed and provide receipts or invoices for transactions.
Communicate effectively with customers to provide delivery updates, address inquiries, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Follow safety protocols and traffic laws while driving and adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Report any delivery issues, vehicle malfunctions, or customer complaints to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles, including routine inspections and maintenance checks.
Assist with other duties as needed, including warehouse tasks, inventory management, and customer service support.

Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; motorcycle license may be required for certain delivery roles.
Previous experience in delivery, courier services, or related fields preferred but not required.
Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns in the delivery area.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry packages or parcels weighing up to [weight] pounds.
Attention to detail and accuracy in recording delivery information and collecting payments.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
