Description

As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting our finance department in various accounting tasks. You will assist with financial record keeping, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Prepare and process invoices and expense reports
Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable ledger
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting
Assist with payroll processing and tax filings
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Assist with audits and other compliance activities
Requirements:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
