Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciling accounts and preparing adjusting entries as needed.
Monitor cash flow, budget variances, and financial performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Assist with financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making by providing timely and accurate financial information.
Conduct internal audits and reviews to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and controls.
Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, operations, and human resources, to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders, external auditors, and regulatory agencies regarding financial matters.
Stay current with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification or equivalent qualification preferred.
Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and reconcile accounts accurately.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
Knowledge of financial analysis techniques, cost accounting principles, and internal control procedures.
Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle, is a plus.
