Job Title: Cashier

Job Overview:
We are looking for a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
Greet customers with a smile and provide exceptional customer service throughout the checkout process.
Scan items, handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment accurately.
Ensure pricing accuracy and resolve any discrepancies or customer concerns promptly.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including bagging items, returning unwanted items to shelves, and disposing of waste.
Promote store loyalty programs and encourage customers to sign up for membership.
Assist with inventory management tasks, such as restocking shelves and monitoring product levels.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
Follow all cash handling and security procedures to prevent theft and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred.
Excellent math skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with cash register systems.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
